FREE Eyre Limited, the concept, was begun by a dedicated group of Eyre Peninsula people out of adversity.

FRESH – RARE – ENTICING – EYRE’s mandate is to “take control and add value”

FREE Eyre Limited embodied the aim of developing new businesses, developing value adding enterprises, managing profits and reducing costs along the supply chain for Eyre Peninsula farming enterprises.

The company was established mid 2007 and has a shareholding membership of some 330 farming enterprises and Eyre investors who believe, not only in the sustainability of the region but also, in the power of scale and working towards common goals and benefits.

FREE Eyre Limited facilitates and drives new economic activity on the Eyre Peninsula, by working with partners and funding bodies to leverage funds.

FREE Eyre Limited’s initial objectives are not to invest in a specific business but rather to:

  • To identify and assess the viability of any identified projects
  • Develop relationships to leverage funds for start up of projects
  • Assist with raising funds for new businesses
