JOHN CROSBY AM Chairman and Secretary
Roseworthy Diploma in Agriculture (RDA)

Mr Crosby is currently Chairman of the Agribusiness Advisory Board of Adelaide University, as well as General Manager of his own farming and investment business in the South East of SA. He is also Managing Director of C&F International – an import and export business selling Australian produce into Vietnam.

John has been Chairman of numerous wheat and meat industry bodies over his career and he has also held senior roles with the NFF and Agribusiness Association of Australia. During this period he played a significant role in the float of Elders and was both a baodr member and General Manager with Elders after the foat.

DAVID GIDDINGS Director
Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture). Previous Chairman of the Wanilla Ag Bureau and Chairman LEDA (Lower Eyre Ag Development Association).

Mr Giddings is an innovative and dynamic farmer based at Wanilla / Wangary on the lower Eyre Peninsula and employs the latest available farming technology to maximise farm profitability in a high rainfall zone.

TREVOR GILMORE Acting/Deputy Chairman

Mr Gilmore has had a varied career in regional areas, including teaching, fishing and business, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board of FREE Eyre.

Former Chairman of Board of Directors, Ausbulk Ltd 1995 – 2004, Chairman of Ausbulk finance and Audit Committee, Nominations and Remuneration Committee and Listing Committee. Founder and Chairman of Semaphore Container Services, 2006 – 11.

Corporate Career of 27 years with Consolidated Goldfields, BHP, Texasgulf, Atlantic Richfield & Rio Tinto – primary focus on iron ore, coal, copper and industrial minerals. Followed by over 23 years as an entrepreneur exploring for major ore bodies and developing significant new port and logistics infrastructure, and new mines.

ASHLEY ROFF Company Secretary

Over 25 years of governance and legal experience in agriculture, including as legal counsel and company secretary of ABB Grain Ltd (now Glencore / Viterra), Ausbulk Ltd, Emerald Grain (a Sumitomo subsidiary) and Berri Ltd. Currently, Non-Executive Director of Port Lincoln based Angel Seafood Ltd (ASX: AS1).
